Mobile-XLTM In Negotiations With "Mi" Mobile Devices
XLBrowser could be embedded on all Mi Mobile Device handsets as soon as Q'1 2009

LOS ANGELES - NOVEMBER 14, 2008 - Mobile-XL announced today that it has entered talks with Mi-Fone ( BVI)Ltd the company behind the "Mi" brand of Mobile Devices to embed selected Mi range of handsets with the XLBrowser. The agreement would affect all relevant Mi handsets entering the market beginning in early 2009 in selected countries.

The Mi brand of handsets has become a significant player in the African handset market this year with a view to providing affordable handsets to other emerging markets as well. The main point of interest is their focus on the Youth markets. The XLBrowser would come pre-loaded on selected Mi handsets and allow users to easily select and instantly receive up-to-the-minute information, news, sports, finance, entertainment, games, music and much more.

According to Alpesh Patel, global sales director for Mi, "The demand of consumers in emerging markets has proven to be fertile ground for the Mi range of products. Combining our affordable handsets with the XLBrowser merges the best technology with simple access to information while maintaining the objective of affordability. This agreement will benefit our customers, because many of them are in areas with limited, unreliable, or expensive internet or WAP technologies," he said. "Furthermore, we always look to offer cool and cutting edge phones to our growing customer base that deserves a unique phone experience. Working with Mobile-XL and providing this needed and relevant access brings an additional dimension of service to our audience that no one else could offer today."

"A partnerhsip with Mi- will bring Mobile-XL closer to realizing its goal of Bridging the Digital Divide,"" said Guy Kamgaing-Kouam, CEO of Mobile-XL. "Our shared focus of delivering technology and information to consumers in emerging markets creates a natural foundation for a successful alliance. On top of that, the mi range of handsets targets low to mid handset buyers, which allows us to expand the reach of our service to a greater audience. Owners of sub-$120 handsets are actually the target segment that we believe will be the biggest user of our service and we are happy to partner with a company that shares the same focus in its demographics."
