Mobile-XL is preparing to launch of Version 3.0 of its XLBrowser, a mobile application that utilizes SMS to give instant access to information to users in areas with limited internet or WAP technologies.
The XLBrowser Version 3.0 provides an enlarged and simpler user interface, more menus and additional steps for accessing more targeted services . with this version, not only will the user be able to enjoy many more services, it is also a larger platform for content providers and brands.
"With this version, we are opening up our platform for the world. The scrolling feature and the multiple levels of user commands makes our software and ideal version for anyone who has content to offer to the mobile user in its country" commented Guy Kamgaing-Kouam, CEO of Mobile-XL. "We can invite all content owners to join our platform and make money because space is less of an issue and the interface takes into account the constant addition of services for the benefit of the end-user. This version is also advertiser ready though we do not anticipate any immediate interest from advertisers given the nature of the markets we are targeting. But the feature is available today."
Mobile-XL has also significantly expanded its development team by opening a development center in Singapore and adding server capacity in the UK, South Africa and the UAE in addition to its US gateways.
